We’ve made two big updates to our Adsterra Ads API to help you work faster and smarter. These changes will make it easier for you to automate your tasks and grow your ad campaigns with less effort. - You can now create Popunder CPM campaigns through the API.
- You can change campaign settings on the go without logging into your Adsterra account.

1. Create Popunder CPM campaigns with the API
No more logging in and clicking around. Now you can set up your Popunder campaigns right from your own system using a simple POST request.
With the Campaign Creation API, you can:
- Start Popunder campaigns from your platform
- Choose the pricing model you prefer
- Target users by country, device, OS, and connection
- Set budgets, bids, frequency limits, and campaign start times
- Add your landing page URL and preview images
- Use CPA Goal and Smart CPM for better optimization
Note: Be sure to include all the required targeting options when creating a new campaign.

2. Adjust campaign settings with the API
We know that sometimes you need to make quick changes to your live campaigns. Now, you can do that without logging into your Adsterra account.
With our new PATCH request, you can edit campaign settings right away using the API.
Here’s what you can update:
- Bid amounts
- Landing page links and preview images
- Budget limits (total, daily, or hourly)
- Impression caps (total, daily, or hourly)
- Frequency settings (how often a user sees your ad)
- Device and connection types
- Start time and schedule
- Targeting by OS, browser, carrier, IP, or location

Getting started is simple
You don’t need much to begin using the API. Just follow these easy steps:
- Log in to your Adsterra advertiser account.
- Go to Settings → find the API tab.
- Click GENERATE NEW TOKEN.
- Copy the token (you won’t see it again after refreshing the page).
- Use the token in your API calls as X-API-Key.
