Requirements:
- A new Business Manager that has no existing ad accounts.
- The personal ad account must have at least one billing transaction completed.
Steps to Transfer:
- Go to the “Ad Accounts” Section
- Open the settings in your Business Manager. Navigate to the “Ad Accounts” tab.
- Click on “Add”
- This will display multiple options for managing ad accounts.
- Select “Claim an Existing Ad Account”
- Choose this option to take ownership of the personal ad account you want to transfer.
- Enter the ID of Your Personal Ad Account
- Input the ID of the ad account you want to move. Click Next.
- Agree to Meta’s Terms of Service and Advertising Policies
- Review and accept the terms. Then, click Claim Ad Account.
- Click “Done”
- Your personal ad account is now fully transferred to Business Manager.
Once the transfer is complete, Facebook will create a new personal ad account to replace the one moved to Business Manager.
